<p>Imagine standing in the middle of the Mojave Desert. It is about 105 degrees, with a 40% humidity. Now, begin working out. Sounds crazy, doesn&#8217;t it? Well that is the exact idea behind a growing fad, called; Bikram Yoga. Also known as, Hot Yoga, Bikram Yoga, has slowly established itself as the it way to get in shape.</p>
<p>1. History: Bikram Choudhury trained the Bishnu Ghosh school in Calcutta, India. At the Bishnu school, Bikram was able to obtain all of the perspectives and techniques to create Bakrim Yoga. Presently, Bikram lives in Beverly Hills, California and teaches at his self-founded Bikram&#8217;s Yoga College of India in Los Angeles. Bikram holds a copyright over Bikram Yoga, which forces any prospective instructors to go through a rigorous training program and certification process. The students are trained out of the Yoga College of India, which has branches in the United States an Japan. The College has trained over 3000 individuals. Bikram, currently owns over 500 yoga studios throughout the world.</p>
<p>2. Techniques: Bikram Yoga is a series of poses and breathing exercises, conducted in a room at 105 degrees (with a 40% humidity). This rigorous atmosphere allows the individual&#8217;s body to sweat out all of the toxins, while obtaining better flexibility. The actual yoga, itself, is comprised of 26 Asana (postures), such as, Tree Pose, Cobra Pose, Eagle Pose, and so on. </p>
<p>3. Ideology: The main ideology behind Bikram Yoga is to achieve wellness, restoration and rejuvenation within the body. Each pose was designed to systematically stimulate each muscle and joint. Bikram Yoga believes that individuals only use 50% of their true lung capacity; and through the heat it will enable a person to use more. </p>
<p>4. Possible Risks: Due to the overwhelming atmosphere, individuals are advised to consult their local physician before participating in Bikram Yoga. Even though an individual has been cleared, there are other risks involved. Dehydration, muscles strain, heat exhaustion, or a heat stroke can occur; so it is imperative to stretch and drink copious amounts of water.</p>

<p>&#8220;7&#8230;8&#8230;9&#8230;10&#8243;. Now, put down the barbell, and take a breather. It is one of the great physical mysteries, &#8220;how much time one should take between sets at the gym?&#8221;. If your rest is too long, your workout will lose its intensity, but if the rest is too short it can stunt your entire workout. It has been said that, &#8220;&#8221;Like good comedy, when it comes to working out, timing is everything&#8221;. This quotation is not only, supposed to highlight the importance of a rest period between each set, but more importantly the rest between workouts. Once an individual begins to notice results, it is tempting to get to the gym as often as possible. On the contrary, it is actually those rest periods which enable those results. </p>
<p>1. Upgrade: Cut back the rest period between each workout by five to ten seconds. It may be difficult at first, but over a few weeks you will be lifting the same in a shorter period. This slight change in timing, over a few weeks, will give you the ability to build more muscle and harness your conditioning. It is important to note that you should not decrease, or especially increase the weight during this period. </p>
<p>2. Strength Gain: After each lift, an individual&#8217;s muscles, nervous, central nervous, and cardiac system must recover. When an individual participates in a workout, each system works double-time, in order to properly balance the body. If an individual &#8220;jumps the gun&#8221;, it could not only hinder the exercise, but it leaves an individual vulnerable for injuries. </p>
<p>3. Weight Loss: There are two main methods to losing weight during training. The first approach is circuit training (a program with minimal rest between sets). This fast-paced program allows the individual to enhance their muscles, while expanding their cardio. The other approach, which is just as effective, is to alternate exercises between upper and lower body muscles. </p>
<p>4. Muscle Gain: Studies have shown, that when an individual takes a short rest between workouts, their testosterone and growth hormone produce rapidly. The recommended amount of time between sets is 60-90 seconds, for proper muscle recuperation. </p>

Does music actually have an affect on an individual physical performance? Can it actually function on a biological level? Well, dust off the headphones, because music, simply works.</p>
<p>1. Respiration and Heart Rate: Research has shown that the intensity of music can dictate an individual&#8217;s heart rate or respiration levels. Simply put, if an individual is listening to harder music; the heart rate rises, along with the respiration. However, if the individual is listening to lighter music; the heart rate will decrease, along with the respiration. This discovery is has prompted fitness teachers to play music with intensity before rigorous workouts, in order to subconsciously speed up the heart rate.</p>
<p>2. Physical Strength: Do not lift to Tschakovsky. It may resonate as a beautiful moment in time, but research has shown that sedative music actually decreases an individual&#8217;s muscular fitness potential training ability. Although each person is different, light music does aid in a workout, better than silence. </p>
<p>3. Rehabilitation: For years, scientists and doctors have worked to aid the physically and mentally challenged through a rehabilitation process. Recent studies have shown that music can actually speed this process along. The actual music can advocate the enhancement of a person&#8217;s gait and motor skills. The individuals increase the stability and mobility of the clients, through the stimulation of the neuro-muscular system </p>
<p>4. Endurance Performance: Although several studied have been conducted, researchers can still not explin the physiological effect music has on an exercise performance. One of the main theories, is that &#8220;music can improve a person&#8217;s enjoyment and compliance to a fitness program, therefore ensuring long-term benefits, such as enhanced quality of life and reduction of risk to coronary heart disease and other causes of death.&#8221;</p>
<p>5. Fundamental Motor Skills: Recent studies have shown the advantage of playing music for children in elementary physical education classes. For children, music enhances the experience of exercise and actually motivates them to be more active.</p>
<p>6. Aerobic Fitness: Although the days of cheesy Jane Fonda videos are over, the idea behind them is getting stronger. Music, depending on preference of course, can completely enhance the aerobic workout. The presence of music does not only apply a sense of motivation, but it also instills an external stimulus.</p>

You just have to come up with a weight loss plan that will help you start to lose weight in a safe way. You need to incorporate both diet as well as exercise in your weight loss plan in order for it to be effective. You do not have to go overboard in your diet and exercise routine. You just need to realize that the fundamentals of loosing weight include increased physical activity as well as decrease in calorie consumption.</p>
<p>Loosing weight is not that difficult. You do have to be persistent and not allow failures to deter you from your goal. <p>Allergies are the biggest problem when it comes to pets. Many people do not realize that they are allergic to their pets until they get them in the house and begin to get sick. Allergies affect your health by attacking your immune system. If you get a pet and begin to get sick often with allergy like symptoms, chances are that you are allergic to your pet. There are products that you can use to treat the coat of your pets so that they do not cause you such a reaction. You can also make sure that you vacuum on a daily basis with a good vacuum cleaner made for people who have pets so that you can help your health.</p>
<p>There are some pets that do not have an effect on allergies. These are certain breeds of dogs that have hair instead of fur. These dogs have to be groomed and do not shed hair and are often thought to be better for your health if you tend to suffer from allergies due to pets. Some people who have allergies to pets build up immunity to the allergy after a period of time so that it does not bother them.</p>
<p>Other cases of pets negatively affecting your health have to do with what they bring in the house. Cats that roam outside, for example, may bring disease into the house by way of fleas and worms. If you have cats as pets, you are better off to make them stay indoors so that they do not bring in any disadvantages to your health from outside.</p>
<p>Fleas can also affect your health and can affect both dogs and cats. Fleas can host on you as well as your animals and infest your house. You should make sure that you protect your animals against fleas so that you can not only protect them, but also your health. If you find that your cat or dog has fleas, you have to make sure that you not only address the problem with the animal but also in your home.</p>
<p>Ticks are another way that pets can affect your health. Hunting dogs are most prone to getting ticks that can also spread to humans and can cause Lyme disease. Dogs should be protected from both fleas and ticks, especially dogs that are often in wooded areas where deer ticks are located.</p>
<p>Naturally, you should make sure that your pets are vaccinated against rabies, which is another disease that can be spread from animal to human, although this is very rare when it comes to pets. You can take care of your health as well as the health of your pets by making sure they are protected against insects and diseases that affect them; keeping a close eye on them, keeping cats indoors and making sure that you keep your home clean by vacuuming and cleaning up after your pets.</p>

Now that you have hit the big 40, you must realize now that you can’t stop the years to come. So you might as well put up the best fight by living a healthy life and keeping up with your age. Staying active as you get older is very important in leading a healthy life. Even just taking out maybe fifteen minutes of your day to take a walk will have a lasting effect on your body. Working out should be one of your priorities out of all of your healthy habits. It may actually be a good way to relieve the stressfulness of motherhood and wifely duties. Having healthy habits will only improve the quality of your healthy life. And having a healthy life will only make you feel that much better about yourself. Don’t be afraid to keep your body in check by weighing yourself as frequently as you can.</p>
<p>People tend to avoid stepping onto that scale but face those fears! It will only help you to acknowledge the truth of how well your attempt at living a healthy life is going and make you work that much harder. When you remember back to the younger days when you could eat as if you had an endless crater as a stomach, you need to come to terms with the fact that those days are long gone. In order to lead a healthy life you must try not to overeat! Overeating can help you immensely when it comes to not gaining any unnecessary pounds. Even just cutting back a few bites for every meal will save you a simple hundred calories a day. A major key to having a healthy life is drinking lots of water. Sometimes as you get older you feel as if you’re hungry when your body is actually thirsty for some H2O.</p>
